This authentic organic extra virgin olive oil from Lesvos has a vivid golden yellow colour characteristic, (due to a low chlorophyll content and higher levels of carotenoids) with a notable delicate and fluid texture that does not resemble other Greek olive cultivars.

Intensely fruity with the positive attributes of bitterness and pungency being distinctively present. Its bouquet reveals a complex aromatic profile with a pronounced fresh tomato-leaf and green tomato aftertaste, being the most predominant feature.

Our early harvesting contributes to a higher concentration of polyphenol antioxidants which are widely praised for their anti-aging and anti-inflammatory value.  MONOGRAM has an extraordinary antioxidant phenol content that makes them a natural antagonist of cancer and heart disease, yet they are a gourmet delight

Health claim:Olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress” (Commission Regulation (EU) 432/2012). The beneficial effect of polyphenols are obtained with a daily intake of 20 g (just 1,5 table spoon) of MONOGRAM extra virgin olive oil

MONOGRAM includes on its label the nutritional claim “High in the mono-unsaturated fat, Oleic acid” which can help lowering bad LDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and risk of coronary disease.

Nutritional claim: “High in the mono-unsaturated fat, Oleic acid”(Regulation EC No. 1924/2006). «Replacing saturated fats in the diet with unsaturated fats contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels”. Oleic acid is the most abundant unsaturated fat present in MONOGRAM extra virgin olive oil.
