Early Harvest Koroneiki cultivar Organic

This regal small “tear drop” shaped olive has been harvested when olives were still green and unriped in order to produce the so called “Agourelaio” (Early Harvest), ensuring powerful antioxidant and beneficial health properties. It flaunts a spectacularly high polyphenol content while maintaining a harmonious balance.

Exceptionally vivid deep green colour, velvety texture with a robust fruity characteristic flavor and a scent of freshly-cut grass, green leaves and wild-herbs. Its taste is powerfully fresh, pungent and complex, yet harmonious with subtle notes of artichoke and green pepper, offering a rich and long lasting spicy finish. These traits are typical of an early harvest-high-polyphenolic olive oil and along with its harmonious balance, all adds up to the distinctive character of Koroneiki variety.

Chemical analysis-Organoleptc assesment

Extra virgin olive oils vary in taste. When you pick the right olive oil for your dish, the flavors are in harmony, just like when you pair a wine with your dinner. But how do you know which extra virgin olive oil to pick?

According to the principal guide rules of food pairing, there are three different categories of Extra Virgin Olive Oil: Delicate, Medium and Robust.

The “Koroneiki –Early harvest Monovarietal” of MONOGRAM collection belongs to the “Robust” olive oils.

Robust is meant for hearty dishes that already have an impactful flavor to them. With a bold dish like a grilled steak, you’d want to use a more intense olive oil with more prominent flavors, something where the bitterness and pungency elements are more prominently expressed.

Food pairing of Koroneiki –Early harvest Monovarietal”: It works well with bold flavors: grilled or roasted meat (beef, lamb), strong cheeses, soups (drizzled on top), marinades, pasta sauce and of course as a finishing oil in bitter green salads.

Enjoy your bold dishes with “Koroneiki-Early harvest Monovarietal
