An olive tree was the mythological gift of goddess Athena to the city of Athens. At the Panathenaic Games, the winners were awarded a ceramic vase with olive oil. And at the Olympic Games, the winners were crowned with wild olive branches. Monogram’s history might not be that old, but it goes back several generations of olive growers in Pylos-Navarinou, Messinia, Greece.
