MONOGRAM extra virgin olive oil collection contains a broad spectrum of bioactive compounds on its nutritional label which prove its beneficial health impact
According to the European Commission Regulation (EU) 432/2012, approved by the European Food Safety Authority EFSA, olive oil polyphenols contribute to the protection of blood lipids from oxidative stress. The claim may be used only for olive oils, containing at least 5 mg of hydroxytyrosol and its derivatives per 20 g of olive oil (250 ppm).
Indeed, MONOGRAM is analyzed annually by accredited laboratories and is certified to contain an extremely high biophenol content according to the official COI/ T.20/Doc. No 29. – HPLC method, recognized by the International Olive Council. The beneficial effect of polyphenols are obtained with a daily intake of 20 g (just 1,5 table spoon) of MONOGRAM extra virgin olive oil!
In addition, MONOGRAM includes on its label the nutritional claim “High monounsaturated fat” which can help lowering bad LDL cholesterol, blood pressure, and risk of coronary disease. Thus, replacing saturated fats in your diet with the unsaturated fats of MONOGRAM olive oil contributes to the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels.
