Another harvest…
If you work the land, harvest is the time of the year when emotions can race from stress and anxiety to relief, hope, and joy. That’s because some things, like your efforts, you can control. And others, like the weather or market prices, you can’t. But no matter how steep this rollercoaster of feelings is, and how physically exhausting the season is, we wouldn’t change it for the world. Harvest, frankly, makes us feel fully alive.
Muscles, joints, bones… there’s not a single part of your body that doesn’t work hard during harvest time. And still, you can only feel complete pride and joy pride. Pride for the hard work we did from dusk till dawn. And joy because as a result of that work, we’ll produce the highest quality extra virgin olive oil.
